The rattle is silicone I believe but the other toys are wood. They're smooth so I didn't worry about the baby mouthing them. They helped her work on her dexterity.My baby loves these toys over his plastic ones. He especially enjoys playing with the rattles. They are sturdy and helpful developing his motor skills.A little smaller then I thought. But great quality. And the koala rattle is actually silicone with wooden bits in the middle which is actually really cuteI had only had this a couple of days before my four month old petite baby broke the rainbow shaped toy and almost choked on the small ring that’s on the inside. Disappointing.Perhaps I didn’t read the print very well but I thought it was a great deal but the pieces are tiny. Cute though.
