These Busy Quiet books are a big hit with my 2 1/2 year-old granddaughter.They’re colorful and age-appropriate. Although I think she’ll enjoy them for many years to come.I’ve given her several different quiet busy books, and what I like best about this one, is that the Velcro pieces transfer from one page to the other, so they’re not just loose in a bag. They’re always either on one page or the other. The other quiet books require all the Velcro pieces to come off and go into a bag to play with them again. And that takes a lot of adult supervision for sorting and keeping control of which pieces go to which page.This busy book eliminates that problem. I really appreciate that!The only con that I see is that it took me 40 minutes (I timed it), to put punch out the pieces and place all the Velcro dots on The book and the pieces. At least it is clear and they’ve marked where the Velcro dots should go.It’s important to note that the clear Velcro dots go on the book, and the white Velcro dots go on the back of the pieces. If you get that mixed up you’ll run out of the white ones.There is a little instruction stamped on the back of one of the pages.These books would be perfect to take with you into a restaurant or any situation where you wanted a toddler to play quietly for a while.I highly recommend this busy quiet books.
